THE WRETCHED STONE by Chris Van Allsburg allowed us to do so much! We worked on good questions, inferences and the hardest part was symbolism. The stone that turns most of the crew into monkeys, symbolizes objects we can become hypnotized by like television and computers. This led to such great discussions and caused lots of controversy. With this controversy we discovered that we all have different POINTS OF VIEW...stay tuned for our next story!
