Learning so much in my Kagan training this week. I did not know there was such a huge difference from group work and cooperative work. So many structures to work on this year. I will be doing class building and team building activities weekly and sharing how they worked out.
Group work is actually less effective then Direct Traditional teaching but Cooperative learning with structures includes everyone and holds all students accountable. It is fun too! More to come as I tryy out with my class, check out this site in the meantime.
